This small backyard situated in one of the most sought-after areas in Melbourne needed a pool that complimented the beautifully renovated period house, whilst still allowing for an entertaining area. Our clients also wanted the entertaining area to double as a car space for those rare occasions when they needed to pull the car off the street. With this in mind, the pool was designed raised to the existing pool deck height so the area flowed easily and monopolised less than half of the width of the yard. Cantilevered cross beams were added into the landscaping to add shape and form and screens were installed on all boundaries.
