The Balinese Paradise in the heart of Brisbane Suburbia. A not so simple lap pool with 3-sided infinity edge, fully tiled and ready for any event. We were very privileged that the homeowner was also the designer of the pool. He designed pools for resorts in Indonesia and Vietnam and wanted to create his own Balinese escape in his back yard. The project was designed to suit the clients terraced back yard and to utilise an area of their yard that was unused and hard to maintain. A 3-sided infinity/spillway edge is not seen every day, nor is it easy to construct. The reverse formed common wall for pool and spillway catchment tank (3x sides) was a process adopted due to the limited size in between tank walls for the concrete shapers to access.
