The design of the pool was carefully considered to harmonize with the surroundings. Notably, the width of the window aligned with the entrance hall's width, which extends the full length of the house. This strategic design choice creates a captivating view from the front door, making the pool a striking focal point of the house. The access path, concealed behind the raised end wall, eliminates the visibility of the gate and pool fence from the house, ensuring a seamless visual flow. Additionally, the pergola adds a dramatic impact to the pool area, further enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal.

To fulfill the customer's brief, the construction team faced several obstacles that required problem-solving and ingenuity. The pool location, in close proximity to the house, intersected with the angle of repose of the pool structure. Consequently, the pool had to be built on piers to ensure stability and structural integrity. Precise set-out and leveling were essential since the pool needed to be constructed before the basement, leaving no access afterward.
